Dear Paola,

Thank you so much for your kind email. It means a lot to have the support from Ledro:-)
We are working hard to find a way back into the race as soon as possible. And of course i will try to visit Ledro again in 2015 to defend our title 😉
Please give my warm regards to all helpers and sailors from Lake Ledro! It will always be our favorite place to race. And merry christmas!

Hilary and I were only saying to some friends here last weekend that our most memorable experience of 2014 was with you all in Ledro for the WUC Match Racing. It really was something special. We wish you all the best for Xmas and the hope that 2015 keeps you well.

However what I did want to share is vision of the Closing ceremony which for me showed the power of Sport to act as a social glue in the community and is a memory that will last with Hilary and I forever!

2014 WORLD UNIVERSITY WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP

In 2014 was organized by AVLL the 7th World University Match Racing Championship, an event that involved the whole Ledro Valley. With the participation of 27 team from all around the world, it was a kind of mini-Olympics; the friendly community of Ledro has fostered knowledge and friendship among all participants in the event.
